Access Troubleshooting
Use this page when Access actions are blocked or do not behave as expected in 1stLine by Burava.
I can see Users, but I cannot change Roles
In 1stLine, changing user Roles requires Org Admin access.
If you do not see a role selector in the Users table, or role changes fail, ask an Org Admin to update the role.
See Users.
My Burava Platform role is different from my 1stLine Role
This is expected.
Burava Platform is the source of synchronized users, and it can also be the source of synchronized Teams. Roles in 1stLine are separate product permissions for 1stLine.
A Burava Platform admin can be a Reader in 1stLine. A Burava Platform reader or member can be an Org Admin in 1stLine.
Ask a 1stLine Org Admin to set the correct Role in Users.
I do not see the API Tokens tab
The API Tokens tab is role-based.
If your role cannot read API Tokens, the tab is hidden or shows a permission message.
Ask an Org Admin to review your role if you need token access.
See API Tokens.
I can view API Tokens, but I cannot create, edit, rotate, or delete them
Managing API Tokens requires Org Admin access.
If action buttons are missing, or an action returns a permission error, your role does not have token management rights.
I cannot create or edit Teams
Check both conditions:
- you must be an Org Admin
- team sync must be disabled
If team sync is enabled, 1stLine shows team management as disabled and Teams are managed through Burava Platform sync settings.
See Teams.
I cannot remove or downgrade an Org Admin
1stLine prevents role changes that would leave your organization without an active Org Admin.
If you hit this case, first assign another active user as Org Admin, then retry your role update.
Team member add fails with user not found
When adding Team Members, use the email of an existing active User in the same organization.
If the email is correct but still fails, confirm the user is active in the Users tab first.
I closed the API token value and now I cannot see it again
This is expected. 1stLine shows the token value only once after create or rotate.
To get a new value, rotate the token and copy it immediately.
